I have a passion and enthusiasm for marketing, branding and idea creation from a business development perspective. Specifically, understanding how strategy-driven design can be integrated into and support overall corporate development and profitability.  

I’m intrigued by the customer discovery process; how we connect with each other and how meaningful experiences can improve brand equity.

My energy comes from understanding what makes people tick— then bringing creative ideation and thinking to organizational context. I’m an inquisitive thinker. I like asking questions and distilling information to help navigate change and facilitate effective decision making.

MAKE IT MIGHTY

During the week, 

I ENJOY HELPING BUSINESSES GROW AT MIGHTY IN THE MIDWEST— A DIGITAL STRATEGY, DESIGN, AND DEVELOPMENT COMPANY IN GRAND RAPIDS, MICHIGAN.

Mighty is a solution-oriented team of problem-solvers and creative thinkers. Our work is grounded in research and guided by strategy. We focus on your goals and your users, and make sure we fully understand the opportunity before defining a solution. Once we know why an initiative is valuable and what we want to accomplish, we’ll figure out how. If you’ve heard the terms “human-centered design” or “design thinking,” that’s what we’re talking about here. That’s how we work. 

In my role, as a Project Manager, I play quarterback. Assessing how each project deliverable uniquely meets a user’s needs and builds that user’s confidence in a brand. I do this through assisting strategy, design, content and development teams, to solve problems, exceed client expectations, launch ideas, and build meaningful relationships. Have a project? I approach my role very intentionally; believing the intersection of design and business is what drives opportunity. That innovative ideas rooted in strategy can solve problems and create positive experiences in a world cluttered with options.

It's not the instrument that makes the music, it's the player.

So much emphasis in the innovation and creative space is placed in process, tools, trends and techniques. Enough of that. It’s people who make magic. There are no silver bullets. We all have unique gifts and talents. I (like many others) have found these tools helpful in understanding and articulating mine. They fit me to a tee.
